Pay Scales: Building a Rewarding Career

NLC Limited offers attractive pay scales along with various allowances and benefits as per company rules. The indicative pay scales for these posts are:

 * Junior Overman (Trainee): ₹31,000 – ₹1,00,000

 * Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I): ₹26,000 – ₹1,10,000

Post Details & Eligibility Criteria:

To ensure a smooth application process, candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications and other criteria. The crucial date for determining eligibility (including age limit and category claims) is April 01, 2025.

1. Junior Overman (Trainee)

 * Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution, along with a valid DGMS Overman's Certificate of Competency and a First Aid Certificate.

2. Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I)

 * Educational Qualification: Degree/Diploma in any stream with a valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency OR Diploma in Mining Engineering with a valid Overman's Certificate of Competency, and a First Aid Certificate.

Age Limit (as on April 01, 2025):

The upper age limit for candidates applying for these posts is as follows:

 * Unreserved (UR) / Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 30 years

 * Other Backward Classes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer): 33 years (3 years relaxation)

 * Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): 35 years (5 years relaxation)

Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates will be as per Government of India guidelines. The maximum age limit after all relaxations is 58 years.
